Fresh off stealing the auto show, the Bentley concept car is one for the ages. Each year, even with all the light speed innovation and technology in automobiles, it still takes a real feat to take everyone’s breath away. All experts agree that the new Bentley gtc is on a whole other level. Simply expressed, the Bentley EXP 10 is here to rock the world.
Folks were completely caught unawares with the sheer magnitude of the Bentley EXP 10, it appeared the company was focusing its energy on doing a smaller sporty vehicle to slow below the current Continental. However, the Bentley concept car came out and crushed it. The Bentley GTC is truly lightweight and much more agile than what we are used to from the luxury brand. Why not rent a Bentley.
There’s no better time than now to attack the smaller, cheaper sports series, especially with McLaren making a strong play. From its rear view, the Bentley concept car exhibits shades of Aston Martin, ready and poised to make a splash in the smaller luxury vehicle market. Although we don’t have this car available for rent you can always try one of our Bentley rentals and experience the allure they provide.
Intentionally, we are rather light on details so far, as we shower glorious affection, but authentic nonetheless over this awesome vehicle. However, that’s to be expected, because in the true British fashion of understatement, the Bentley GTC is currently regarded as a “potential future model line” and a “bold vision for a brand with a bold future.” Marketing buzz aside, but, with all due respect, if the company doesn’t follow through with this Bentley concept car, then you can officially mark them as completely off their rocker.
The great news is that it presumably appears geared for production from the mesh front grilles to the vast new headlights, apparently, inspired by Bentley’s strong affection for quilted leather upholstery. While on the subject, the leather-lined cabin seems like it’s already showroom ready, offering fine, exquisite details like the miniature milled metal gear selector and the curved central touch screen. As a touch of sheer class, the analog tachometer’s integration into the digital gauge cluster exudes sophistication. As we’ve grown accustomed to, Bentley proves it knows cabin.
It must be said that even though the official release doesn’t even confirm that the Speed 6 has an engine, its name dishes up the opportunity to speculate about what mechanical package the final version will end up with. “Six” lean towards an engine with that many cylinders—on the basis that Bentley’s early-2000s Speed 8 Le Mans racer had a V-8, not to mention the marque’s sporty six-cylinder Speed 6 of the bygone 1920s. However, the people in the know at Bentley have previously asserted that the company has no plans to produce any cars with fewer than eight cylinders as a result of stringent controls about fuel-economy standards and the like. The Audi-engineered twin-turbocharged V-8 that powers the slightly less well-endowed members of the Continental clan (and the Audi RS7) appear the best fit for its capabilities. It becomes even more significant if a Bentley were to go head-to-head with the V-8–equipped Aston Vantage and (assuming) eight-cylinder McLaren Sports Series. Let’s consider the name as a red herring for now and move on.
As far as price is concerned, or potential sale release date, of which Volkswagen Group’s heavily acronymized platforms it will reside on, we’ll just have to wait and see. It goes without saying that something this beautifully engineered, must be brought to life. Be sure to rent a Bentley today.
