The Las Vegas boxer, Floyd Mayweather, recently posed with his latest exotic car purchase, a 2015 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, in a photo posted to his Instagram account Monday. Mayweather flew his car mentor Obi Okeke who co-owns Fusion Luxury Motors in Chatsworthin california to help negotiate the deal. The car was reportedly purchased at the Bramen dealer in Midtown Miami.
Okeke says that he has sold four Bugattis to Mayweather, including the convertible Vitesse that Okeke says is one of only 44 ever produced. The black and orange color scheme and interior are one-of-a-kind, he said.
“You can’t go and order one,” Okeke said Tuesday after a flight home from Miami.
Bugatti’s website says the car can accelerate to speeds of 254 mph and goes from zero to 62 mph in 2.6 seconds and has 1,200 horsepower. Bugatti has built and sold 450 Veyron models between 2006 and 2015 and 150 are convertibles like the one Mayweather bought on Monday. Mayweather already has his eye on his next possible purchase, a $3.2 million Pagani Huayra that’s been flown to Okeke’s California showroom. Okeke said that he’s sold Mayweather more than 39 cars.
Floyd Mayweather owns several exotic cars including a ferrari enzo that he’s selling. He also has a many rolls royces including a wraith and a one of a kind Rolls Royce Phantom limousine. Bruce the driver takes care of Mayweather’s fleet making sure all the cars are ready for the king whenever he wants to take a cruise through the vegas strip.
