The first creation of the newest Italian car brand Italdesign Automobili Speciali is a masterpiece. The Italdesign Zerouno is one of the most exclusive supercars of 2017. It was unveiled at the 87th Geneva international motor show of 2017. The company will only produce 5 of the Italdesign Zerouno models. Remarkably 4 out of the 5 Zerouno’s are already sold at a hefty $1.9 million dollars.
You can see many style cues from the Centenario, Veneno, and the Aventador. The Italdesign Zerouno has a completely carbon fiber body. The front has a very aggressive look with a Y duct that forces air through the hood and helps keep the super car on the ground. The top of the front bumper is split into two giving it a more aggressive feel. The front fenders have louvered fender vents allowing for more of the heat to be dissipated. On the side, you will find 2 openings with radiators inside that help cool the engine further. It measures 190.8 inches long, just 1.9 inches longer than the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S, but it’s 2.3 inches narrower and 2.7 inches taller.
The small rear led lights look very futuristic and float around the rear of the car. There are large cutaways in the rear similar to the Centenario along with a variety of cool looking rear diffusers that assist with downforce. The titanium exhaust tips give the rear a nice finishing touch as well as helping to pull the air out from underneath inspired by Formula 1. There is also an optional Corsa package that turns it into a track-only vehicle which adds additional aerodynamics. As with any bespoke exotic car the Zerouno can be fully customized inside and out.
The Audi sport naturally aspirated 5.2 litre v10 sounds awesome in the rear. Italdesign Zerouno uses the same Power terrain as the Lamborghini Huracan and the Audi r8 producing 610 horsepower. The car can race from 0-60 in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph. The Zerouno uses the Lamborghini Huracan seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and also the all-wheel-drive system.
The lead designer Filippo Perini had previously been the chief designer at Lamborghini for 14 years. Although you probably never heard of Italdesign they have been around for over 50 years. The Italian company has been designing beautiful products from tractors, buses, electric bikes and even coffee machines. The company is located in Turin, an important business and cultural centre in northern Italy. We do not have this car available for rent but you can try out our Lamborghini Rentals if you want to get a taste of an Italian Sports car.
